Long Overdue Update

I co-styled a friend for her wedding...this is a few hours before she got dressed and said I DO...what a beautiful ceremony!!

This stye was meant to be soft and curly..but the fibre she used to do her braids couldn't curl with heat, it burned...so we used pins. It came out pretty well.. can't wait to reproduce a similar effect on locks.

I've not been meaning to forsake my blog, life has just taken me a strange place..and I'm battling to stay afloat.. but I have many pics I took with the whole intention of updating my blog...let's hope I get to it sooner or later.

Miss you blogland..will check out your blogs soon and see what I've missed in these past couple of months.

Stay blessed

Hi,

I am so excitd to finally see a microloc blogger from Africa. I am very much interested in microlocs and have currently spent countless hours on the internet researching on this area.

I am a Zimbabwaen based in Zim and would want to have microlocs. Unfortunately I haven't found any knowledgeable hairdresser or individual locally. I am debating on the latch hook or the nappy tool but i think will start off my dreads as a two strand twist and then introduce the tool on the first re tightening.

I would be very grateful if you could help with tips and any information that could help me. I am trying to educate my hairdresser. I have had traditional locs before and cut them. Currently I have 1.5" long natural hair. I have access to buy products from South Africa so if you have any recommendations let me know.
Keep the good work. I am drooling right now over you picture!!
